Buyers Club Liverpool Wedding – Sarah & Rohan
This was not a ‘normal’ wedding; in fact it wasn’t even a wedding! Sarah and Rohan are getting married in Australia in February 2017 and they wanted to celebrate their impending marriage with friends and family in England. They chose the Buyers Club in Liverpool as the venue for their celebration on a warm and sunny Saturday in September.
We walked a short distance from the Buyers Club on Hardman Street and took some urban portraits with St Luke’s (commonly known as the ‘Bombed out church’ in the background.)
Guests were treated to a lovely drinks reception in the courtyard before moving on to the restaurant for their pre-wedding breakfast event. Speeches followed upstairs in the clubroom with first Sarah & Rohan taking to the stage, followed by two of their close friends. I have been to a lot of weddings, but all four speeches were up there with the best I have heard, combining amusing anecdotes with genuine emotion, love, and warmth.
